These Terms of Service govern the use of KiloWhiskey, a private video publishing and workflow automation tool for authorized YouTube channels.
By authorizing or using KiloWhiskey, the account holder acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
Purpose of the Application
KiloWhiskey is designed to assist its operator with video publishing workflows, including preparing publishing metadata, uploading video content, scheduling publication, and verifying publishing operations on authorized YouTube channels.
KiloWhiskey is not a public social platform and does not provide public user registration.
Authorization
KiloWhiskey may access Google and YouTube services only after an authorized account holder grants permission through Google's OAuth consent process.
The user is responsible for ensuring that the Google account used with KiloWhiskey has appropriate authority to manage the connected YouTube channel.
Permitted Use
KiloWhiskey may be used only for lawful and authorized publishing activities.
Users must not use KiloWhiskey to:
- access or manage a YouTube channel without authorization;
- circumvent Google or YouTube security controls;
- violate applicable laws, regulations, or platform policies;
- upload or publish content that the user is not authorized to use;
- misuse OAuth credentials or authentication tokens;
- interfere with the normal operation or security of Google, YouTube, or KiloWhiskey.
YouTube and Google Services
KiloWhiskey relies on Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API for authorized YouTube operations.
Use of YouTube through KiloWhiskey remains subject to Google's and YouTube's applicable terms, policies, technical restrictions, availability, and API requirements.
KiloWhiskey does not control the availability, behavior, quotas, restrictions, or policy decisions of Google or YouTube services.
Publishing and Scheduling
Publishing instructions, video metadata, privacy settings, and publishing schedules may be submitted through KiloWhiskey's authorized workflow.
KiloWhiskey may use YouTube's native publishing and scheduling functionality after the requested operation has been authorized.
Scheduled publication ultimately depends on YouTube accepting and processing the requested publishing state and schedule.
Content Responsibility
The user remains responsible for all video files, titles, descriptions, publishing instructions, and other content submitted through KiloWhiskey.
The user is responsible for ensuring that published content complies with applicable copyright laws, platform policies, and any other legal or contractual requirements.
Security
KiloWhiskey uses authorization credentials and application state to perform approved publishing operations.
Users must not intentionally disclose, distribute, or misuse access tokens, refresh tokens, client secrets, or other authentication credentials associated with the application.
Availability and Reliability
KiloWhiskey is provided for private operational use and may depend on third-party infrastructure and APIs.
While reasonable measures are used to support reliable operation, uninterrupted availability or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
Publishing operations may be delayed or prevented by network failures, account authorization changes, API limitations, service outages, quota restrictions, or platform policy enforcement.
Revocation of Access
The account holder may revoke KiloWhiskey's access to their Google account through Google's account security and third-party access settings.
Once access is revoked, authenticated YouTube operations requiring that authorization can no longer be performed unless authorization is granted again.
Privacy
KiloWhiskey's handling of Google and YouTube account information, OAuth credentials, workflow data, and video publishing data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when KiloWhiskey's functionality, infrastructure, publishing workflow, or applicable service requirements change.
